Alpentrio Tirol (July 16, 2005)
Date broadcast: July 16, 2005

This talented group was going to appear at the 25th anniversary of German Fest in 2005 and were kind enough to give us an interview on the Stimmung Stunde. We have seen them perform in Germany and saw them on a cruise to the Panama Canal in 2007 that Ted Hierl organized. Richie Grier retired in 2009.  In 2011 when Georg Astenwald retired from the group it only had Mario Wolf & Christoph Purtscheller left from the orginal group. They have continued under the name Mario & Chrisoph.

Feller & Feller (February 26, 2005 & November 26, 2005)
Date broadcast:  February 26, 2005 & November 26, 2005)

We interviewed Hansi of the singing Duo Feller & Feller twice for the Stimmung Stunde and visited him at his home in Ost Friesland. He even sang some Christmas songs he was composing for a new CD, right their in his kitchen. Also he took us to a chapel not far from his home that inspired him to write one of his popular songs. Hansi is a very talented composer and entertainer.

Rudy Giovannini
Date broadcast: September 16, 2006

We had an interview with Rudy Giovannini in a charming Gasthaus in Sudtirol. It was fun sitting across the table from him and just discussing his many years as a singer. The highlight of his career was singing for Pope John. This interview took place before the Grand Prix where he did a duet with Belsy.

Lydia Huber (July 1, 2006)

Date broadcast: July 1, 2006

Lydia Huber was at the Milwaukee German Fest in 2005 for the 25th anniversary of German Fest. She entertained the fest goers with a variety of Volksmusik that made her famous. In 2006 when we were in Germany, we asked if we could have an interview with Lydia. She met as at the studios of Radio Melodie in Munich where she was working at the time. Radio Melodie closed a year later and is now on the internet as Heimat Melodie and a great place to listen to Volksmusik on the internet.

Die Ladiner (February 26, 2005)
Date broadcast: February 26, 2005

I met Joakin Stuffer at the Marc Pircher Fest in 2004 in Austria and asked if I could have an interview with him. We set a date where I called him at his home in Sudtirol and we had a nice discussion about the songs he sings. His brother composes most of the songs they record and they are one of the few groups I interviewed who have a Fan Club-USA here in Oregon.

Peggy Mueller

Date broadcast: February 26, 2005

Peggy Mueller is a talented button box musician here in Milwaukee. She prides herself in playing only authentic Bavarian music. Her husband, Hansi, accompanies her on the "spoons". This fun loving couple enjoys playing music and bringing smiles to the faces of their audience.

Alex Parker (Jan 28, 2006 & Sept 2, 2006)

Date broadcast: January 28, 2006 & September 2, 2006

Alex was interviewed twice for the Stimmung Stunde and I found him one of the most entertaining interviews we had. He spent some time in America through an exchange program and while he was a teenager he actually visited Milwaukee's German Fest. Alex even did part of the interview in English.

Klaus Gurschler of the Psayrer (April 1, 2006 & May 20, 2006)

Date broadcast: April 1, 2006 & May 20, 2006

We visited Klaus Gurschler at his hotel in Sud Tirol and got this 2 part interview live at his hotel. The Psayrer won the Grand Prix der Volksmusik in 2005 with the song "Berge".

Marc Pircher (August 21, 2004)

Date broadcast: August 21, 2004

Marc Pircher was the 3rd interview I did for the Stimmung Stunde. He is a very energetic person on the stage and off. In 2005 we went to his Marc Pircher Fest in Austria and were able to see him in action on the stage. Then in 2006 we saw him perform in Blankenberg, Belgium. He has over 300 live performances a year. You have to have a lot of energy to keep up with his schedule. This was after he won the Grand Prix der Volksmusik in 2004 for his song "Hey Dirndl".

Semino Rossi (June 11, 2005)

Date broadcast: June 11, 2005

This was one of my favorite interviews. Semino definately had the Latin charm. It was rather interesting that we conducted this interview in German. Semino speaks German & Spanish and I speak German & English. So we were both using a forgein language to conduct this interview. We got this interview with Semino as his star was just starting to rise in the German Music field and has skyrocketed since then.

Die Schaefer (June 25, 2005)
Date broadcast:  June 25, 2005

In March 2005 we met the Schaefer in Germany at a performance in the Westerwald. They were scheduled to appear in Milwaukee at the 25th anniversary of German Fest. They recorded some great ID's for the radio show and when they were in Milwaukee, Uwe and Bianca even came to the studio and did a live interview on the Stimmung Stunde the Saturday morning of German Fest.

Oliver Thomas (July 31, 2004)

Date broadcast: July 31, 2004

When we did this interview, Oliver was portraying more of a squeeky clean image and has changed his image since then. Also, Oliver has been married since then, sorry girls he is no longer available. I found him very cleaver and willing to give me all the time I wanted. Not all artists are as generous with their time as he was.

Vincent & Fernando

Date broadcast: February 26, 2005

This was my very first interview for the Stimmung Stunde. We did not have the sophisticated equipment for recording interviews that we had later. It was a real challenge to do this one, but the brothers were very patient with me. Again, this was rather early in their career. They had played many years locally, but were just starting to get recording contracts and making appearances outside their beloved Sudtirol.

Die Vinschger (Meinrad Tscholl) (January 20, 2007)
Date broadcast: January 20, 2007

The interview with Meinrad Tscholl of the duo, die Vinschger, was the last interview with German entertainers that was broadcast on the Stimmung Stunde. In March 2007 the Tim Kretschmann, the host of the Stimmung Stunde for 17 years, did the last broadcast. We met the Vinschger in March 2006 in Sudtirol up on a mountain of snow at a ski lodge. They were the entertainment that day and yes, their stage was outdoors. People were dancing in their snow boots.
